Archbold Classic Raises Funds to Benefit Those Seeking Careers in Healthcare
The Archbold Foundation ARCHBOLD CLASSIC Golf Tournament recently teed off to raise funds in support of the Archbold Scholarship Program. More than $950,000 has been raised in the history of the tournament to help sustain the program. "We are thankful for the support the Archbold Scholarship Program receives from this tournament," said J. Perry Mustian, President/CEO of Archbold Medical Center. Grady General Raises Diabetes Awareness Through an Upcoming Health TalkIn 1991, Angie Jones was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. She was in nursing school at the time and, while in class, classmates ran a blood glucose test on her which revealed her diabetes. In August 2005, Jones decided to make a lifestyle change since she was overweight and diabetic. Through portion control, watching what she ate and exercising, Jones was able to significantly reduce her diabetes medication. Read More. |
