Bell Has Transferred As of Sept. 27
Bell Hospital in Ishpeming has transferred all patients to its new facility as of 8 a.m. Saturday September 27. All Bell Hospital medical services, including the emergency room, have beeen transferred to the new hospital. Residents should be aware that no medical services will be offered at the old Bell facility. All services, including emergency services, are available at the new hospital, at 901 Lakeshore Drive in Ishpeming.

Bell is your convenient and compassionate acute care hospital offering a full range of services. We offer accessible parking, with key ancillary services and advanced medical technologies just steps away. Our diagnostic and therapeutic services include x-ray, mammography, ultrasound, laboratory, respiratory therapy, and nuclear medicine, plus general/ambulatory surgical units, a coronary care unit, and obstetrics with private birthing suites. We have over 90 physicians on our active and consulting medical staff, with additional offices throughout the Central UP.
Our surgical center performs procedures on a daily basis, from colonoscopies, hysterectomies, gall bladder, total knee and hip replacements, plus arthroscopies, carpel tunnel, cataracts, endoscopies, hernias, tonsils, and vascular.
Bell also offers rehabilitation services, including physical occupational therapy and speech therapy, with our newest addition being our Sports Health Department. Bell Behavioral Services, a department of Bell Hospital, also provides adult, child, and adolescent therapy services, plus substance abuse counseling and psychological assessment.
