Copley Hospital Wellness Manager Linda Shaw, RN, CCE recommends everyone, especially those at high risk, get their flu vaccine – but, not too early.  “Timing is important,” she says.  In Vermont, the flu season typically begins in late December and lasts through April with the peak season being in February and March.  “To be fully protected at peak season the best time to receive this important vaccination is late October and into November,” says Shaw.  For more information including dates of clinics to be held at Copley see the full press release "Get Vaccinated."
